Get ready for an evening of rockin’ and rollin’ featuring a high-octane performance of ‘50s and ‘60s classics from The Dirty Rockin Scoundrels, as well as folk from Telford based group The Endings, and Jake Nelson will be performing an acoustic set of soulful classics.
Watch and be inspired as award winning chef, Marcus Bean, demonstrates how to cook a classic Shropshire dish. He will offer some top tips along the way!
Marcus is well-known to many from his TV appearances on ITV’s “This Morning” and Channel 4’s “What’s Cooking”.
Natasha Baker is a 5 time Paralympic gold medalist – a tally which includes 2 gold medals at the 2012 London Paralympics. She will be taking you behind the scenes of her yard and giving you a glimpse into her training program with her horse Keystone Dawn Chorus (or “Lottie” for short!).
Masterchef winner, Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed, shares her family style approach to cookery. Inspired by her completely food obsessed Pakistani Kashmiri family that she grew up with, her recipes are unique and fit for a banquet. Saliha juggles family life with a busy career as a Doctor and Chef and has featured on TV shows such as ‘This Morning’ discussing the merits of healthy eating.
Recently named as one of top 10 game changers in the UK food scene and winner of episode 1 of Channel 4 and Netflix series Crazy Delicious. Shropshire LAD, aka Adam Purnell will be cooking up a storm. Despite his fame Adam says “I am what it says on the tin. A lad, from Shropshire with a passion for cooking, fishing, and this beautiful county full of amazing ingredients and produce.” We can’t wait to see what local produce he has in store for us.

Aside from the featured events there is lots more going on at the show with plenty of music acts to be enjoyed throughout the day. Competitions will also be taking place in the dog show, open gardens, equine arena, craft tent and all things horticultural while bargains can be had in the shopping village. Everything is online of course!
All donations will be split equally between the 5 participating charities; The Cavalier Centre, The League of Friends to RJAH, The Movement Centre, Dog A.I.D and Shropshire Rural Communities Charity. These charities are run entirely as not for profit and every penny raised goes towards running these worthwhile organisations. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference to our Shropshire communities.
If you’re a UK tax payer, please remember to gift aid your donation. An additional 25p is added to every pound donated, with no extra cost to you.
